Brain Injury Matters NI supports people with acquired brain injury and their families across Northern Ireland. They will use the 10th Birthday grant of £2,000 for their Let’s Move project.

The project is providing a programme of movement and physical activity for people with an acquired brain injury, guided by sports and neurophysio therapists.
Leah Batchelor is one person who has benefitted from the project:
“Before my stroke I was an active person, so when Let’s Move started I was so pleased to get back to exercise outside physio,” said Leah. “Let’s Move showed me that everyone, no matter how disabled you are, can do some form of exercise. The project has given me the tools to work exercise into my every day.”
